Yard Sale this Saturday May 31

We are hosting a giant Yard Sale this Saturday May 31, 2014 from 8:00 AM -4:00 PM.  All proceeds will go towards the Tour de Pink race.  We have pledged to raise $7,500.00 by October 17, 2014.  We have received a ton of donations, thank you!!  We would love everyone to come say hi and help support the cause.  You might end up with great treasures also.  We will have Pink Ribbon items for sale as well.

Friends and Family Needed....

I would love to include all of my friends and family in this special event.  I absolutely love the YSC.  I have found great joy in serving the YOUNG SURVIVORS in our area.  We have 10 young women in Cedar City with breast cancer.  There are thousands more in the United States.  Help us reach out to them.  With this program, we are able to help others, just like me.  Your donation is 100% tax deductible and 100% amazing!!  Thank You.

Dear Family and Friends:

April of 2012, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I was 34 years old, a mother to four young children.  I went through chemotherapy, radiation and bilateral mastectomies.  I have found support and education through the Young Survival Coalition, a non-profit organization.   This year I have decided to make a very personal commitment. In October of this year, I will be participating in a special event, the YSC Tour de Pink. On October 17, I will join hundreds of other cyclists as we ride 220 miles to support young women with breast cancer.

Young Survival Coalition (YSC) is the premier global organization dedicated to the critical issues unique to young women who are diagnosed with breast cancer. YSC offers resources, connections and outreach so women feel supported, empowered and hopeful. With an interactive website and almost 30 affiliates across the United States, it is YSC’s goal that no young woman should be left to fight breast cancer alone. The funds raised by YSC Tour de Pink will help them focus on education and outreach opportunities and provide peer-to-peer support for newly diagnosed young women.

I have committed to raising $2,500 to participate in this ride, but my team has set a goal of raising $7,500.00  by October 17, 2014. I’m asking you to make a commitment, too. Can I count on your support?

Thank you Giant!!  They have donated 25 Inspire Bikes to survivors.  I was lucky enough to receive one.  I am so grateful!!  It rides so nice.  I rode 13 miles on Saturday and LOVED every minute of it.

I’ve made an exciting commitment to participate in YSC Tour de Pink, a 220 mile bike ride for breast cancer. It’s a huge challenge, but I know that I can do it! The money I raise will go to support Young Survival Coalition, the premier non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and education to young women affected by breast cancer. With the motto “Ride. Support. Inspire”, YSC Tour de Pink is much more than just a ride, it’s a chance to honor survivors, raise awareness and support important programs for young women with breast cancer.
